Many people ask "How did you think of a travel business?" or "Why LDS tours?"  This page answers those questions and more.

OUR GOAL is to make it possible to take a church history tour though time is limited.  We take away the fear of driving long hours and/or late at night, the complications of booking hotels, finding directions etc.  It's all done for you - just get on the bus and take the ride, learn and enjoy!!!

Church History tours are a great way to both learn and understand church doctrine as well as the circumstances in which it was given.

Where did we come from and how did we end up with a tour business?

Jane grew up near Corning, New York - approximately 2 hours drive from the Hill Cumorah.  Rob served his mission in the New York Rochester Mission.  After we married we moved to Alberta where Rob grew up.  Over the last 20 years we have taken several trips east to visit family, touring church and other sites along the way.  We both love to travel and have been able to instill in our children a love of church history that may never have come if we hadn't made the effort to plan our trips to visit Kirtland, Nauvoo, and other historical sites.  Our wish for several years has been to find a way where other families could have the same kinds of experiences.

In July 2003 Rob and Jane took a trip east and visited the Washington DC Temple.  In the hotel at breakfast we visited with a group of young adults from Salt Lake City who were on a group tour.  From there the idea of a tour company from Alberta took hold and here we are!

Our family consists of the two of us and six children.  Jennifer (Jane's daughter from a previous marriage and later adopted by Rob) lives in Vernal, Utah with her husband and two young sons.  Jared is currently serving in the Colorado Denver North Mission.  Brett will turn 19 in May and is currently working on mission papers hoping to leave soon after Jared's return.  Brian will finish Grade 11 this year, Spencer, Grade 9 and Tyler, Grade 5.

In July 2001 our family was blessed to be accepted and called as members of the Hill Cumorah Pageant Cast.  Jared returned after high school graduation to appear in the cast and Brett returned the past two summers (2004 & 2005) as a member of the pageant work crew.  We LOVE the Hill Cumorah and especially the pageant.  We are thrilled to be able to offer two nights of pageant on our 2006 tour!
